BUY

Do these games work?

All games from game guy carry a 90 day warranty against defects and have been tested to make sure there in good working condition.

I'm looking for a particular item, do you have it?

All games listed on game guy online are in stock. However our retail locations are always acquiring more games so be sure to give them a call if you are looking for a particular title.

Do you sell new games/DVD's?

No, we mainly deal with used game and DVD's, however from time to time new software has been ordered for big name titles.

Do you special order games/DVD's?

No, in most cases the games that are requested are considered rare, which are nearly impossible to find. For hard to find games we usually suggest ebay.com.

Can I trade my stuff toward games/DVD's?

Yes, you can trade your used games and DVD's towards our games or DVD's.

Do you sell import games?

No, We do not sell import games at this time.

What if I want to sell you my games?

We do purchase games and DVD's from our customers; we pay cash for most game and DVD titles. The amount is based on current market price and availability.

Do you sell mod-chips?

NO

What games/DVD's do you have in stock?

The Game Guy Online website contains most of our online inventory. Each of our retail stores has their own separate inventory; you may want to call them if you are looking for a specific game or movie.

What are the factors that determine what a game is worth?

Current market value, availability, seasonal game genres and the condition of your software.

Why are old sports and wrestling games worth so little?

After the season is over most of the sport game fans move on to another sport. This is when we see an influx of old sports games that no one cares about. If you want to get the most out of your sports games sell them right before or right after the all-star break of that current season.

How can I get the most for my games?

Keep your games with their box/case, Instructions/maps/etc., and keep you cart clean and your disc from being scratched by always keeping them in the CD case they came in when you are not playing it.

What kinds games do you buy?

We buy original NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Gameboy (color)(advance), PSX, PS2, XBOX, some Dreamcast and non-sport genesis games (Salina only)

Can I sell my games to you through the Internet?

I just paid $50 for this game, why is it now only worth a dollar?

Well if it's a sports game then the seasons over and nobody is interested in an old outdated sports game. If it's a Titus, 3DO, or Take 2 interactive game then you should have seen it coming with their track record of stellar titles.

What do you give for DVD's?

The prices can fluctuate from $1.00 to $8.00 for most regular DVD titles. However box sets are calculated on a per set basis.

What do you give for Games?

We usually give $1.00 to $25.00 for most game titles; rarities and collectors items are calculated on a per game basis.

Do you buy computer games?

Yes, each game is evaluated individually, partially due to the fluctuation in the PC game market.

Do these games work?

Yes, all games are checked cleaned and buffed for consistence reliability.

I'm looking for a particular title, do you have it?

We Carry PSX, PS2, N64, XBOX, GameCube and DVD movies call your local store for availability

What do I need to rent?

You must be at least 18 years of age with a valid drivers license and credit or debit card.

Can I rent on-line?

No, this is only available at our Retail level.

What is your return policy if the game/DVD I rented doesn't work?

You may exchange the title for the same, however if there is not another title available you may check out a new title for one rent period.

Do you rent import games?

No, import games aside from Gameboy titles do not work in American systems.

Do you sell your rental games?

Yes only after they have run their course through the rental process.

Do you rent game system or DVD players?

No, in today's games system world most systems use the CD/DVD based format, which makes keeping them in working order an arduous task.

What games/DVD's do you have to rent?

We carry PSX, PS2, N64, XBOX, GameCube and DVD movies rated G-R
